PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for a semiconductor switch element, which shortens the time required for turn on/off, and a semiconductor relay equipped with it. SOLUTION: A primary circuit A1 is equipped with first and second light emitting diodes 13 and 14. A secondary circuit A2 possesses a solar cell 16 which charges the section between the gate and the source of a MOSFET 11 in response only to the light from the first light emitting diode 13, and a photodiode 17a which generates photoelectromotive force in response only to the light from the second light emitting diode, and is equipped with a charge drawer 30 which draws out the charge between the above gate and source. When the first light emitting diode 13 emits light, the section between the gate and source of the MOSFET 11 is charged with electricity by the solar cell 16, and when the second light emitting diode 14 emits light, the charge between the above gate and source is drawn out by the charge drawer 30, thus shortening the time required for turn on/off. |
