PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance weight for a motorcycle wheel not causing any environmental problem and installable easily. SOLUTION: This balance weight 1 for a motorcycle wheel comprises a weight 10 formed of a metal other than lead and a clip 20 formed of a spring steel. The weight 10 is formed in generally U-shape in cross section, forms a clip installation groove 13, and comprises a clip installation groove bottom wall 11 and a pair of installation groove side walls 12 continued to both ends of the clip installation groove bottom wall. The clip 20 is formed of a spring steel, and comprises a clip bottom part 21 and a pair of arms 21 continued to both ends of the clip bottom part. The clip 20 is fixedly fitted to the clip mounting groove bottom wall 11 of the weight by fitting the clip bottom part 21 to the clip installation groove bottom wall. The fixing may be mechanical fixing or by welded structure by local heating. |
