PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator in which electrodes are easily formed with a small number of assembly man-hours, an oscillation gyro using the same, and an electronic apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: A plane part 2a provided for the surface of the column-shaped oscillator 2 made of a piezoelectric body is provided with a drive electrode 3 and two detecting electrodes 4 and 5 formed along the longitudinal direction of the flat part 2a. The drive electrode 3 and the detecting electrodes 4 and 5 serves as an interdigital electrode part formed by opposing comb-teeth electrodes to each other with the directions of their teeth intersecting with the longitudinal direction of the oscillator at right angles. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the cost of the oscillator and stabilize its performance. |
