PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the display quality in a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes each to be an upper layer and a lower layer with respect to an interlayer insulating film are formed as different layers in each pixel area of the surface on a liquid crystal side of one substrate of substrates disposed opposite to each other via the liquid crystal. In selected two pixel areas of each pixel area, base layers on which the electrodes to be the lower layers to the interlayer insulating film are formed have heights from the surface of the one substrate different from each other and the film thickness of the interlayer insulating films are set to be thinner and to be thicker to the higher one and the lower one of the base layers having heights different from each other, respectively. |
