<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing flag-derived material derived from fluorine-containing slag, elutes little quantity of fluorine into water and suitably used for civil engineering and construction such as a roadbed material, and provide a method for supressing elution of fluorine from the fluorine-containing slag into water by stabilizing fluorine in the slag. SOLUTION: This method for restraining elution of fluorine includes reacting fluorine in the slag with chromium by adding a chromium-containing material to the slag of a molten state and mixing them, and forming a hardly soluble fluorine compound expressed by MF(CrO4 )3 (where, M is one or more elements selected among Mg, Mn, Ca and Fe).</p> |
