PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication terminal capable of automatically setting the ON/OFF of an automatic telephone message recording mode and to provide an automatic telephone message recording mode setting method and its program. SOLUTION: When a vibration sensor 3 senses vibration caused in the wireless communication terminal, the sensor 3 outputs a vibration sensing signal to a vibration sensor control circuit 21. The vibration sensor control circuit 21 outputs an enable signal (active) to a timer 22 while the vibration sensing signal is active. The timer 22 counts time while receiving the enable signal (active) and outputs the count value to the vibration sensor control circuit 21. When the count value reaches a preset value in the vibration sensor control circuit 21, the vibration sensor control circuit 21 transmits an interrupt signal to a CPU 1. Upon the receipt of the interrupt signal, the CPU 1 sets the ON state to the automatic telephone message recording mode.
