PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short message system capable of delivering mail to many destinations in a prescribed mailing list while eliminating it when detecting an unsolicited mail. SOLUTION: The short message system includes; a mail count function section 2 for detecting whether or not a prescribed number of short messages or more are sent from the same sender within a prescribed time; and a mailing list registration section 4 for registering the mailing list that lists up people for approving reception of the short messages from the sender. When detecting the transmission of a prescribed number of short messages or more from the same sender within a prescribed time, the short message system deletes the short messages and informs the sender about the rejection of transmission of the short messages to the destinations.
