PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get a voltage detecting circuit where the current consumption is small, the accuracy is high, and the malfunction is little. SOLUTION: A voltage detecting circuit is composed of a bias circuit, a current mirror circuit, a MIS transistor for load connected to the current mirror circuit with its current driving capacity changing with the output voltage of the bias circuit, and an inverter circuit for amplification. The leak current of the circuit at large can be reduced and the current consumption can be reduced by sharply changing the potential change of the output node of the current mirror circuit at detection and cancellation of the power voltage. Moreover, the abnormal oscillation of a detection output VDETX in the vicinity of detection and cancellation voltage can be prevented, and the malfunction of a logical circuit where detection output is applied can be prevented, by preparing a plurality of p-type MIS transistors for load of a bias circuit, thereby giving hysteresis to the detected voltage and the cancellation voltage.
