PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational-amplifier connecting circuit having a high safety whereby the occurrence of an abnormality is judged in an IC through the appearance of the picture-plane change of a liquid crystal panel when its adjacent pins are short-circuited, and its temperature rise at that time is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the operational-amplifier connecting circuit, a voltage Vcom is so connected with the operational amplifier provided on the side of the power- supply pin of the IC that the picture-plane change of the liquid crystal panel appears when its adjacent pins are short-circuited. Further, the voltage difference between its adjacent pins when they are short-circuited is so made small by virtue of the voltage Vcom as to reduce the temperature rise of the IC.
