DISC CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: A disc cartridge is provided to smoothly discharge the air stream generated in cases via a discharge channel for reducing the pollution of the disc due to the impurity such as dust. CONSTITUTION: A disc cartridge includes upper and lower cases(120,110) receiving a disc, a shutter(130) for opening or closing an opening hole(121) formed in the upper case for carrying out recording/reproducing work for the disc, a discharge channel(111) provided to a side of the lower case for discharging air stream formed by the rotation of the disc, and an opening and closing element for opening or closing the discharge channel. The opening and closing element includes a rotation door element(113) rotatably mounted to the lower case for alternatively opening or closing the discharge channel at an end, and a spring(114) for elastically biasing the rotation door element to a position to close the discharge channel by the end. The air stream escapes out of the cases via the discharge channel while overcoming the elasticity of the spring and rotating the rotation door element.
