PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe heating device capable of avoiding danger such as fuming or ignition of a heated body by directly detecting the occurrence of the winding of the body to be heated around a rotating body. SOLUTION: This heating device is equipped with: a pair of rotating bodies consisting of a heating rotating body 1 for heating the sheet-type body to be heated (paper P) and a pressure rotating body (pressure roller 2) press-contacting with the rotating body 1; and a winding detection means for detecting the winding of the body to be heated around the rotating body. The heating device heats the body to be heated by transporting the body to be heated between both rotating bodies. The winding detection means consists of a cantilever 4 adjacent to the rotating body and a deflection detection means (a light source 5 and a light receiving part 6) for detecting the deflection of the cantilever 4. |
