PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically discriminate whether inputted data are serial data based on a certain digital video signal or serial data based on the other different digital video signal and to apply data processing suited to the inputted data to these data even when inputting any one of two pieces of serial data based on two different digital video signals. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a waveform shaping part 15 incorporating a PLL part 17 to take a lock state corresponding to HD serial data, waveform shaping part 16 incorporating a PLL part 20 to take a lock state corresponding to SD serial data, detection part 22 for detecting the lock state of the PLL part 17, detection part 24 for detecting the lock state of the PLL part 20, and control unit 23 for maintaining a state to receive data processing by the waveform shaping part 15 in the HD serial data when detecting the lock state of the PLL part 17 by the detection part 22, and maintaining a state to receive data processing by the waveform shaping part 16 in the SD serial data when detecting the lock state of the PLL part 20 by the detection part 24. |
