SOLUTION: This system 1, to which these methods are applicable, is provided with a calculating means 3 for calculating a wear length based on a picked-up image in which a wear target part of a guide plate 853 for guiding the control rod cluster 72 in the control rod cluster guide pipe 85 is imaged, and a preset means 4 of presetting a control wear length for evaluating a calculated value of the wear length based on a maximum wear length, and is constituted so as to support evaluation or the like of wear condition of the control rod cluster guide pipe.
