PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of abnormal sound due to driving of a paper feeding roller or the like of a paper feeding device. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device is provided with a paper feeding roller 3 for drawing out paper 1 by contacting the top surface of an uppermost paper 1a, a friction pad 4 for pressurizing the paper 1 drawn out by the paper feeding roller 3 together with the paper feeding roller 3, and a supporting body 5 for supporting the friction pad 4 to a prescribed place. Whole or part of a connecting means for connecting the supporting body 5 to a prescribed place is formed of a solid rubber member.
