PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cushioning bag comprising a flat bag made of a plastic film and an air valve attached thereto, which can be safely used as a cushioning medium having a high load applied and from which the air can be efficiently exhausted after use. SOLUTION: The air cushioning bag comprises a plastic film bag (1) and an air valve (2) serving as a tubular air channel for communicating the inside with the outside of the bag, which is attached to a side of the bag (1), wherein air is blown into the bag through the valve to have it swollen, and the air valve is closed by an internal pneumatic pressure to prevent the air from flowing out. A tube constituting the air valve is made to be wide, and an internal end (21) of the tube inside the bag is fixed to a film (11) of the bag. In addition, a fastener (3) across the tube is provided in the vicinity of an end of the tube outside the bag. By opening the fastener after using in package cushioning, the internal air can be exhausted at once.
