PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment for allowing a user to easily listen to a monitor sound by amplitude-modulating a scrambled sound by using 1/F fluctuation random numbers, and converting it into a pseudo wave sound, and outputting it. SOLUTION: This communication equipment is provided with a modulating part 4 for modulating transmission data, a demodulating part 5 for converting a reception signal from a line into data, and an error correcting part 3 for detecting the reception error of the data, and for correcting the error. Moreover, this communication equipment is provided with an 1/F fluctuation random number generating part 10 for generating 1/F fluctuation random numbers and an amplitude modulating part 9 having a function for amplitude-modulating a monitor sound which is being transmitted and received by using the 1/F fluctuation random numbers, and for converting it into a pseudo wave sound.
