PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote free copyrighted matter data exchange between users while paying appropriate rewards to a copyright owner by preventing any illegal copy from being spread. SOLUTION: When a user terminal A performs access to a copyright managing server C, music matched with a request for the retrieval of a copyrighted matter from the user terminal A identified as an already registered user is retrieved from a music data base 17, and the user terminal A at a receiver side is notified of the retrieved result list. Then, data transfer between the user terminal A and a user terminal B at a transmitter side is permitted in response to a request for the transfer of music information selected by the user terminal A from the retrieved result list which the user is notified. After the transfer of the music information between the receiver side user terminal A and the transmitter side user terminal B is ended, the deposit account of the receiver side user who has acquired the music information is charged by a server computer 16 and a deposit computer 14, and the reward is paid to the deposit account of the transmitter side user. |
