PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra-low distortion electronic amplifier in which a third-order global dominant pole is formed by the selection of a circuit and a component within an input stage at audible frequencies. SOLUTION: This audible frequency power amplifier provides a high-order local dominant pole by using operational amplifiers. The dominant pole is distributed to both a voltage amplifier stage and an input stage without adverse reduction in a slew rate. The amplifier increases negative feedback at audible and ultrasonic frequencies to reduce distortion over the entire audible frequency band and some of the lower ultrasonic band.
