CROSS DRAIN SYSTEM FOR DECK

PURPOSE: A cross draining system for a deck is provided to improve stability of a ship by discharging rain or sea water through a drain pipe automatically and promptly in inclining the ship and restricting counter flow of sea water. CONSTITUTION: A cross drain system for a deck is composed of plural drain pipes(1) to discharge sea water or rain water when a main deck(30) is infiltrated with sea water or rain water. A couple of inlets(1-1) are formed in trunks(20) at both sides of a ship, and a couple of outlets(1-2) are formed at the bilge portions between sides of the ship and the bottom of the ship. The inlet of the drain pipe is connected to the outlet by penetrating a hull(10) of the ship with crossing each other. Stability is improved by discharging rain or sea water from the upper deck of the ship automatically and promptly.
