PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide containers capable of being stacked up to each other when they are not used, enable their volumes to be reduced when they are stacked up to each other, and further enable the containers to be stacked up safely without having any possibility of slipping down even if cans are stored in the containers. SOLUTION: This container is comprised of a frame, a bottom segment and opposing two side walls. The frame and side walls are cooperatively arranged through hinges. The bottom segment is provided with one or more hinges in parallel with the side walls. The bottom segment can be freely folded through the two hinges. A circumferential edge at the lower part of the bottom segment is provided with a flange protruded downwardly. A substantial central part of the lower surface of the bottom segment is provided with supporting ribs having a substantial same height to each other. Bottom segments at both end portions of the hinges arranged in parallel with the side walls at a substantial central part of each of the bottom segments are recessed and at the same time the supporting ribs are arranged oppositely to hold the hinges arranged at the substantial central part of each of the bottom segments. It is preferable that the hinges of the supporting ribs are applied as tapered surfaces. |
