PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock dial capable of making the dark purple of a solar cell invisible and providing a bright and clear color, a manufacturing method therefor, and a portable clock using the dial. SOLUTION: This clock dial uses a light transmission substrate 11, and the light transmission substrate 11 is formed out of a transparent plastic material dispersingly-blended with ultraviolet ray absorbent 13, has projections and recesses formed into a pattern on its lower surface, and the recess 11b has a reflective film 12 reflecting the light. The top surface 11c of the projection 11a is set to be 120μm or less in width and permits light transmission, and the clock dial is characterized in that a sublimation dye is penetrated into the light transmission substrate 11 to form a desired color image 14.
