PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly retrieve data in a list prepared by general spreadsheet software without increasing any load to be imposed on a computer. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a data preserving means 1 for executing the preservation of data to be preserved inputted by using a retrieval key value, a data converting means 2 for converting the retrieval key value according to a preset conversion rule in order to generate a memory retrieval key value, and for converting the data to be preserved into hierarchized data corresponding to the memory retrieval key value, and for outputting and preserving the data in a memory 3 at the time of preserving data, and for converting the retrieval key value inputted from a data retrieving means 4 based on the conversion rule, and executing address designation corresponding to prescribed data to the memory 3 in order to read the data at the time of retrieving the data, and a data retrieving means 4 for inputting the retrieval key value for the data retrieval to the data converting means 2.
