PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel link type instrument support apparatus capable of holding an instrument in a stable state in a predetermined direction at any angle position with a simple construction and provide smooth operability. SOLUTION: A parallel link is constructed of two links of a first link 8 and a second link 10 whose respective one ends are pivoted on pivot shafts 14, 15 of a fixed base body 2 and whose respective the other ends are pivoted on pivot shafts 18, 19 of an instrument support body 6. A third link 12 is provided such that one end is pivoted on the pivot shaft 14 on a fixing base body 2 of the first link 8 and the other end permits sliding contact with the second link 10. A compression coil spring 34 is interposed between the other end of the third link 12 and the second link 10.
