PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition improved in wet gripping properties without spoiling the breaking strength of a tire. SOLUTION: This rubber composition comprises an isobutylene-based block copolymer (A) containing unsaturated bonds having crosslinking functional groups and consisting of a polymer block (a) mainly comprising isobutylene and a polymer block (b) mainly comprising an aromatic vinyl-based compound, a thermoplastic resin (B) and at least one species of rubber component (C) out of natural rubber, diene-based polymer rubber, olefin-based polymer rubber. The copolymer (A) is crosslinked during melting and kneading with the resin (B).
