PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which printing speed is made higher by shortening color slurring correction process time. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with 1st and 2nd image forming means for forming 1st and 2nd registration marks, a detection means for detecting a superposed registration mark obtained by superposing both registration marks and the 1st and 2nd registration marks, an arithmetic means for calculating the difference of positions between the 1st and the 2nd registration marks, a means for deciding a faulty position and a means for correcting the position of the 2nd registration mark on an image carrier, and is constituted so that only the superposed registration mark may be formed first and detected by the detection means, and the 1st and the 2nd registration marks may be formed when the difference between the superposed positions is larger than a specified reference value, and then the position of the 2nd registration mark may be corrected. |
