PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable composition highly sensitive to light from visible to infrared regions and having excellent raw stock preservability and to provide a recording material capable of realizing high sensitivity image recording and having excellent raw stock preservability and humidity dependency. SOLUTION: The photopolymerizable composition comprises at least a polymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, a photo- radical generator and a thiol compound of formula (I) (where R is alkyl which may have a substituent, aryl which may have a substituent and A is an atomic group forming a 5- or 6-membered heterocycle having C atoms together with N=C-N, where A may further has a substituent). The recording material uses the photopolymerizable composition. |
