PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having excellent UV ray-absorbing characteristics, transparency, durability (bleedout trouble) and light resistance, and to provide a polarizing plate and a display device using the same, respectively. SOLUTION: This optical film is characterized by containing at least one ultraviolet ray absorbent represented by general formula (1) [(n) is an integer of 0 to 3; R1 to R5 are each H, a halogen atom and a substituent; X is COO, CONR7 , OCO or NR7 CO; R6 is H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkynyl or an aryl; R7 is H, an alkyl or an aryl]. |
