PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the fixing strength in an unwelded roof plate bracket for mounting a metallic roof plate or so-called folded plate. SOLUTION: This roof plate bracket 1 comprises a metal fitting body 3 for supporting a support part 6 for supporting the reverse side of the top part 2a of the roof plate 2 in a prescribed height. The metal fitting body comprises a protruding part 11 protruded in the longitudinal direction of the roof 2, a grounding part 12 formed on the lower end part of the protruding part 11, and a ceiling part 18 is formed on the upper part of the protruding part 11. A pressure contact member 4 comprising a press contact part 25 to be pressed onto a part subjected to fixing 5a in opposition to the grounding part 12 and a part to be pulled 26 located with a space larger than the thickness of the part 5a above the pressure contact part 25 is held on the metal fitting body 3. Fastening means 30 an 31 for pulling and fastening the pressure contact member 4 are provided between the part 26 of the pressure contact member 4 and the ceiling part 18 of the metal fitting body 3, and the fastening position is set on the part 5a.
