PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a conventional technique for holding an upper bar by an upper bar holding part formed by bending one wire rod and a crossed lower bar by a pair of lower bar holding parts that the inclination of the lower bar leads to the following inclination of a spacer poor in stability, makes it impossible to perform a bar arrangement as designed, or possibly causes a construction defect; and further the disadvantages of the structure by two-dimensional point contact or parallel grounding of a grounding part that the spacer poor in stability is likely to fall in the vertical lower bar direction by an impact, or a construction defect might be caused. SOLUTION: This spacer comprises an upper bar holding member formed of the upper bar holding part and a pair of leg parts; and a lower bar holding member formed of a pair of grounding parts, a connecting part, a lower bar holding part, and a grounding end part, and the lower bar holding part is provided in the direction crossing the upper bar holding part so as to be located above the grounding parts. According to such a structure, a spacer highly resistant to impact by three-directional grounding can be provided. Since the crossed lower bar is received by one lower bar holding part, the spacer can be stably present in a position as designed without following even if the lower bar is inclined. The bar arrangement can be performed as designed.
