PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plush fabric having excellent three-dimensional pattern producible stably and simply, having soft feeling free from discomfort and having sufficient color fastness to rubbing of a dyed product, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The plush fabric is produced by the manufacturing method comprising the following steps: an aqueous solution of an ethylene oxide adduct solid at 40 deg.C is partially applied on the surface of a base cloth by printing; the treated base is dried, and the ethylene oxide adduct is solidified; and subsequently, the base is subjected to a plush forming finish to form plush in the parts where the ethylene oxide adduct has not been applied, followed by washing with water.
