PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cellular and cordless radio telephone mobile communication equipment and method. SOLUTION: This communication equipment comprises an RF circuit having an antenna 382, an RF/IF conversion circuit, a receiving part 301 having a communication path with first filters 333 and 328 for transporting a signal in first (cellular) and second (cordless), integer multiple higher than the first, frequency ranges and a circuit 335 for blocking a signal in the second frequency range and capable of switching the blocking circuit to a communication path with the first filters, a first transmitting part 302 for mutually connecting the antenna to the RF/IF conversion signal for transporting a signal within the first frequency range and also having a signal division circuit, and a second transmitting part 303 having a signal doubling circuit 361 connected to the antenna and connected so as to receive a signal from the signal division circuit and for increasing a frequency in a band of the second frequency range with respect to a frequency received from the signal division circuit. The receiving part and the first and second transmitting parts share mixing devices/IF devices 322 to 326.
