PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box doubling as a packaging and displaying unit which can easily be opened when the box is displayed even if the box has already been sealed by an adhering tape. SOLUTION: There is provided a box doubling as a packaging and displaying unit in which an inner flap 4 and an outer flap 5 extending from an upper edge of each of a pair of end wall 1 and side wall 2 are overlapped to each other and sealed. Cutting lines 10, 11 extending from the side wall 2 to the outer flap 6 are cut to display a commodity. The cutting line 11 is stopped at a position slightly spaced apart from an abutting edge of the flap 6, a cutting line 12 connected with its terminal end is formed. When the cutting lines 10, 11 and 12 are cut in the case that the commodity is displayed, a central part of the top surface is left to enable the box to be opened from the side surface toward the top surface without cutting an adhesive tape 13 applied for performing the sealed state.
