PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material excellent in raw stock preservability while having high sensitivity and low fog and excellent also in the stability of a silver image, color tone of developed silver and unevenness in image density after heat development, and to provide an image recording method and an imaging method for the imaging material. SOLUTION: In the silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material comprising a photosensitive emulsion containing at least non-photosensitive silver aliphatic carboxylate grains and photosensitive silver halide grains, a silver ion reducer, a binder and a crosslinker, the silver ion reducer is at least a compound of formula (A) and a compound selected from among infrared sensitizing dyes, hetero atom-containing macrocyclic compounds and thiuronium compounds is contained. And also, the image recording method and imaging method therefor are provided.
