PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation scanning mechanism eliminating the rotating shaft of a directive sensing member and a bearing. SOLUTION: A toothed rack 19, engaging with the pinion 18a of a first motor 18 fixed to a machine frame 16, translates to the direction A integrally with the sliding arm 15 along a guide rod 17. The sliding arm 15 rotates a rotating seat 12 along the circular arc shaped cam groove 13a of a plane member 13 by holding the lever 14 jointed with an articulated joint with the rotating seat 12 mounting a sensing member 10, and then the directivity R of the sensing member 10 scans in the direction A passing through a center Ca. The pinion 21a of a second motor 21 fixed to the machine frame 16 rotates a rotation arm 22 along a circular arc shaped rib 20 fixed to the machine frame 16 by engaging with a fan shaped toothed gear 22b. The plane member 13 supported by the rotation arm 22 revolves in a direction B and then the directivity R of the sensing member 10 scans in the direction B by passing through a center Cb agreed with the center of the circular arc of the rib 20.
