PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side spacer structure of a connector wherein a connecting terminal can be inserted into the housing main body easily, and the halfway fitting of the connector can be prevented by surely locking the connecting terminal even if this is a small-sized connector. SOLUTION: The side spacer 30 of the connector is loaded from the side part of the housing main body 40, a terminal attaching part 38 having the forward tilting angle is formed at least at the side end part of one side of a terminal temporary locking lance 35, and the tilting angle has been set larger than the tilting angle of a virtual line L, to tie up the front end upper face corner part 56 of a female terminal 50 and the forward upper face corner part 57 of a temporary locking protrusion 51.
