PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recording and reproduction operation of a disk handled as a disk single body using a disk cartridge to be mounted on a recording/ reproducing device by making a disk loadable and unloadable. SOLUTION: A disk cartridge is provided with a cartridge main body 2 that is configured by butting a lower shell 7 with an upper shell 6 provided with a loading port 2a for an optical disk 3, houses an optical disk 3 inside and is provided with an opening part 24 for recording and reproducing at a lower face side, an inner rotor 4 provided with an opening part 44 corresponding to the opening part 24, and shutter members 5a and 5b for opening the opening parts 24 and 44 when the opening part 24 coincides with the opening part 44 with the rotation of the inner rotor 4. In this recording/reproducing device for a disk cartridge, optical disks 3 are exchanged at the loading/unloading port 2a. The optical disk is loaded on a disk housing, and recording to the disk and reproduction from the disk can be performed.
