PURPOSE: Provided is a rubber composition for tire inner liner which has substantially improved anti-breathability, with retaining an excellent adhesion to contiguous rubber which is an advantage of natural rubber. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition for tire inner liner comprises 70-90 phr of halogenated butyl rubber and 10-30 phr of epoxidized natural rubber as raw rubber. The content of epoxy group of epoxidized natural rubber is 10-40 mol%. The rubber composition further comprises other components, such as carbon black, zinc oxide, stearic acid, processing oil, sulfur, and vulcanization accelerator. The rubber composition has substantially improved anti-breathability, with retaining an excellent adhesion to adjacent rubber which is an advantage of natural rubber. |
