The assembly to strip out the rim bead wires from used pneumatic tires, before recycling the tire material, heats the wires before they are ripped out. The tire is held in place by retaining rollers, and the heating system has an active heater unit near the beading wires of the secured tire. The tire is rotated by the powered retaining rollers, to give heat at the whole length of the beading wires around the rims. The assembly to strip out the rim bead wires (2) from used pneumatic tires (3), before recycling the tire material, heats the wires before they are ripped out. The tire is held in place by retaining rollers (21), and the heating system has an active heater unit (22) near the beading wires of the secured tire. At the workstation, the tire is rotated. by the powered retaining rollers, to give heat at the whole length of the beading wires around the rims. The heater has at least one electrode for an induction heating action.
