GUIDE RAIL DEVICE OF BRIDGE AND INSTALLATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A guide rail device of a bridge is provided to prevent a vehicle from falling off a bridge and to minimize the damage of vehicles and the loss of lives. CONSTITUTION: The installation method for a guide rail on a bridge comprises the steps of: welding a lower gusset plate(7) on the lower part of a post(1) to reinforce the lower part of the post(1); welding an upper gusset plate(6) on the upper back end of the post(1) to reinforce the upper part of the post(1); welding rib plates(8) on the post(1); forming holes on the rib plate(8), an H-beam(3) and a shock absorber(5) to fix with fixing bolts(10); interposing a shock absorber(5) in the rib plate(8), then fixing an H-beam(3) by using fixing bolts(10); and putting front and back bending parts of a protective cap(4) over the H-beam(3) to absorb shock.
