SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF IMAGE OF BIOCHIP

PURPOSE: A system and method for analysis of the image of a biochip are provided, thereby effectively detecting effective edge information, and consequently, decreasing an error rate of data significantly. CONSTITUTION: The system for analysis of the image of a biochip comprises the parts of: an image storing module(20) for storing various images including the original image of the biochip which consists of gene groups expressed under different conditions by different fluorescence bases; an image converting module(30) for converting the original image of the biochip into a test image and extracting an overlapping image and a color image from the test image; an edge detecting module(40) for detecting an edge by separating spot type genes to produce a spot and a background template in order to measure the expression level of each gene; a data treating module(50) for calculating statistical data based on the spot and background template and correcting intensity; and a data storing module(60) for storing the calculated statistical data.
