PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable conical roller bearing manufacturing method which prevents a polymer containing a lubricant from being bitten even when the polymer is served for the high-speed rotation, and also to provide a conical roller bearing. SOLUTION: In the conical roller bearing manufacturing method, an assembly body comprising a conical roller 4 and a holder 5 is fitted in a forming die 15 comprising an outer ring die 12, an inner ring die 13 and lid dies 16 and 17. An outer circumferential space and an inner circumferential space of the conical roller 4 and the holder 5 are shut off over the entire circumference via both ends in the axial direction of the holder 5. At least the inner circumferential space is formed to be a sealed space, and the polymer containing the lubricant is filled in the inner circumferential space of the holder 5 via a filling port 18 to form a sub-assembly body comprising the conical roller 4 and the holder 5 having the polymer containing the lubricant. The sub-assembly body is assembled with an outer ring 2 and an inner ring 3 to complete the conical roller bearing. |
