PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily hold loosely sold merchandise (sweets) stored in a merchandise housing rack inside a dispenser and segment it by a fixed quantity and to successively send out a plurality of items of the merchandise successively discharged from the merchandise housing rack to a merchandise takeout port without stagnation to be gathered in a cup container matched with customer's selections. SOLUTION: An automatic dispenser is provided with a merchandise housing rack 3 equipped with a chain elevator type merchandise carry-away mechanism 15 for mounting and housing the merchandise 1 on a shelf plate 15c for each column, a chute 5 and a conveyor mechanism 5 for gathering the merchandise discharged from the merchandise housing rack and sending it out to the merchandise takeout port, and a cup supply mechanism 9 for supplying the cup container 8 to the merchandise takeout port 7. The cup container is discharged from the cup supply mechanism to the merchandise takeout port on the basis of a selling command, and corresponding to following merchandise selections, a plurality of the items of the merchandise successively discharged from the merchandise housing rack are sent out to the merchandise takeout port by conveyor carriage, fed to the cup container and housed altogether.
