PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building capable of ensuring a large space free from wall in the lower floor, in a unit building consisting of wall type building units, without forming a large hanging wall in the ceiling of the lower floor, and easily constituting a setback structure. SOLUTION: In this unit building, a beam 4 is laid and supported between the walls 3 of both building units 1a for lower floor on the inside of the building units 1a in a plan view, and the end parts of building units 1b for upper floor by this beam 4. The beam 4 is formed of a reverse T-shaped sectional steel beam, and the end parts of the building units for upper floor 1b are supported by the reverse T-shaped sectional bottom plate part 11 of the beam 4.
