PURPOSE: A dust combustion burner for COREX melter gasifier is provided which prevents outflow of cooling water inside the melter gasifier by simplifying cooling water supply system and minimizing wear of nozzle member, and in which wear resistant and heat resistant materials are used to increase service life of the burner. CONSTITUTION: In a burner comprising an internal pipe(10) through which dust and nitrogen gas flow, a double pipe shaped external pipe(20) which is installed at the outer side of the internal pipe(10), and into which oxygen supplies, a sealing type cooling jacket part which is installed at the outer side of the external pipe(20), and through which cooling water flows, wherein dust collected from gases generated from melter gasifier and reduction furnace of a COREX facility is injected into the melter gasifier again so that the dust can be burnt by the burner, the dust combustion burner(1) for COREX melter gasifier is characterized in that a nozzle member(40) is installed in the tip of the internal pipe(10) and external pipe(20) to diffusion eject oxygen uniformly on a large area of the nozzle member(40), the nozzle member(40) is equipped with a plurality of circular nozzles for forming convergent-divergent oxygen flame at the outer side of a dust and nitrogen gas ejection hole(45) to enable easy initial combustion of dust, and ring shaped slit nozzles for forming straight type oxygen flame are formed at the outer side of the plurality of circular nozzles to completely burn the dust that is not burnt in the rear side of the convergent-divergent oxygen flame.
