METHOD FOR IMPROVING ROUTING PERFORMANCE OF MOBILE INTERNET ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A method for improving routing performance of a mobile Internet environment is provided to add a function to allow a gateway to be operated as a PHR(Proxy Home Router) providing a CN(Correspondent Node) of an included local network with binding and tunneling functions for an MN(Mobile Node), and to add a function to allow an HA(Home Agent) to establish the PHR and update binding information of the PHR. CONSTITUTION: In an MN(100) registering step, an initialization operation for the operations of an HA(110) is performed and a registration request and replay message is exchanged with the MN(100) to register the MN(100). In an operation performance selecting step, a packet that is transmitted to the MN(100) is seized to decide a source address of the seized packet, in order to select a PHR(200) establishment performing step through predetermined operations. And in the PHR(200) establishment performing step, the predetermined operations to make a proper gateway operated as the PHR(200) is performed in accordance with the selection in the operation performance selecting step.
