PURPOSE: A dust collecting casing of a vacuum cleaner is provided to discharge air efficiently during collecting dust, and to clean foreign matters conveniently by filtering fine dust doubly and completely. CONSTITUTION: A dust collecting casing for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a cylindrical casing part(12) opening the upper part and forming the spiral flow with air from an inlet(14); a cover(20) opening and closing the upper part of the casing, and having a filter(22) installed in the lower center; and an exhaust part(16) formed in the lower part of the casing part and contacted to the filter to discharge air from the filter out of the casing part. The upper part of an extension part(18) is extended in the lower part of the casing part, and the lower part is opened. Plural sectorial elastic pieces are installed in the exhaust part, and made of flexible material.
