The vehicle has a pivoted rear seat/bench. The seat unit (5) has a support structure (15) with backrest part (16) and seat part (17). Seat pads (18) are fastened detachable to the top surface (32) of the support structure. The structure can be pivoted from a seat position into a boot floor position, in which the backrest surface acts as floor. The seat unit is held in either position by a releasable locking device (25). The backrest part is pivoted through an angle of between 60 and 80 deg , esp. 70 deg . The rear seat unit also slides in longitudinal vehicle direction.
