A method for creating and modifying a virtual biological representation of a computer applications user involves initially automatically ascertaining several biological parameters of a user and then processing the ascertained parameters to construct a virtual biological representation of the user in the computer application on the basis of the ascertained parameters. The ascertained biological parameters specifically represent cognitive processes of the user and more specifically the parameters are an electroencephalogram (EEG) electromyogram, breathing, skin conductivity and pulse rate. An Independent claim is given for a system with several measurement sensors for several biological parameters.
