<p>An optical disk device, comprising a plurality of light heads, a guide structure for guiding the light heads so as to be fed in the radial direction of a disk, a feed unit having a light head feed mechanism for feeding the light heads along the guide structure and a feed base for supporting a disk rotating mechanism, the guide structure, and the light head feed mechanism, a light head storage part having a plurality of storably supporting guides for supportingly storing the plurality of light heads, and a light head inserting and extracting mechanism for feeding the light heads from the light head storage part to the feed unit or from the feed unit to the light head storage part, wherein the light heads stored in the light head storage part are fed to the feed unit by linearly moving from the stored position.</p> |
