<p>The present invention provides A therapeutic method to enhance the efficacy of interferon treatment comprising administering to a mammal subject to interferon treatment a compound which is an antagonist of the IL-4 or IL-13 signal transduction pathway in an amount effective to enhance said efficacy. The method includes treatment of diseases such as cancer, proliferative fibrotic diseases, viral diseases, or autoimmune diseases. The invention also includes the use of chemotherapeutic agents, radiation or other treatments in conjunction with the method of the invention.</p> |
